Hundreds of community colleges work with CCCSE each year to evaluate their programs by administering surveys that are empirically linked to student success.

Community College Survey of Student Engagement - a CCCSE instrument

Administered in the spring (either on paper in the classroom or online)

Registration spans June 1 through October 31 prior to the administration

CCSSE includes the option to add an online companion faculty survey, CCFSSE. See more info in Options and Rates.

Administered in the fourth and fifth weeks of the fall academic term (either on paper in the classroom or online)

Registration spans November 1 through April 30 prior to the administration

Race/Ethnicity Survey - a CCCSE instrument

Colleges that administer CCSSE and SENSE also have the opportunity to administer the Race/Ethnicity Survey, a stand-alone online survey. The purpose of the survey is to help colleges understand their students’ experiences with racism, inclusion, and belonging.

Dual Enrollment Survey of Student Engagement - a CCCSE instrument

Currently in the pilot phase, the Dual Enrollment Survey of Student Engagement (DESSE) is an online survey designed to collect information about the dual enrollment student experience from concurrently enrolled high school students.
