CCCSE frequently plans and hosts events that are intensely focused on data, including CCCSE survey results. Each institute and workshop employs a model proven to help colleges identify priorities and strategies for increasing student success rates and to initiate important discussions crucial to carrying out this work.
CCCSE offers a free workshop for state systems when all community colleges in that system participate in either the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) or the Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE). These workshops provide colleges with an opportunity for facilitating important conversations about their student data as well as for using those data to inform potential interventions aimed at improved student experiences and outcomes.
Additionally, for a fee, CCCSE staff can provide workshops tailored for single institutions, districts, systems, regions, or other organizations. Topics may include introducing institutional CCCSE data, communicating CCCSE survey results to internal and external groups, understanding and using these results for improvement, and so on.
