Spring 2026 will be the first national administration of DESSE, a groundbreaking survey designed to capture the voices and experiences of dual enrollment students across the country.

CCSSE 2026

Colleges that participate in CCSSE 2026 will receive a 15-item set—developed in partnership with the Advising Success Network—that explores students' experiences with holistic advising.

Report on Culture of Caring

Essential Conditions for Community College Student Success: Maximizing Student Engagement by Fostering a Culture of Caring explores the importance of colleges establishing a culture of caring that reaches all students. The report draws on data from students at 127 community colleges responding to the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) and 58 colleges responding to the Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE).

Supporting Minds, Supporting Learners: Addressing Student Mental Health to Advance Academic Success explores mental health and well-being among community college students and highlights the challenges many students experience. The data presented in this report are based on a survey administered in spring 2023 to over 60,000 community college students from 149 institutions and a survey administered in fall 2023 to almost 14,000 students from 61 institutions.
